Our Approach

Our VE process begins in preconstruction and continues through design development — the phases where changes are cheapest and most impactful. We evaluate structural systems, MEP strategies, envelope assemblies, and finish specifications against market pricing and performance benchmarks.

Every VE recommendation includes a full cost-benefit analysis, schedule impact assessment, and quality comparison. We present options, not mandates — giving ownership and the design team the information needed to make confident decisions.

Capabilities

Structural System Analysis
Comparison of concrete, steel, and wood-frame structural options against cost, schedule, and performance criteria.
MEP Optimization
Review of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for efficiency, redundancy, and cost reduction opportunities.
Envelope & Façade Review
Analysis of cladding systems, window-to-wall ratios, and waterproofing assemblies for cost and performance.
Finish & Specification Review
Evaluation of interior finish specifications against market alternatives with equivalent performance.
Life Cycle Cost Analysis
Long-term cost modeling that balances first cost against operating cost and maintenance requirements.
VE Workshop Facilitation
Structured owner-architect-contractor workshops to evaluate and prioritize VE opportunities collaboratively.
